2021 Virtual Tomato School
Thursday, May 20, 2021 – 8:45 am to 5:30 pm CDT
The 2021 Missouri Tomato School will be live streamed. Presenters include national and regional experts speaking on disease management, plasticulture, fertigation, and irrigation of field and high tunnel tomatoes, optimizing shelf life, protected growing, and tomato grafting. Andre Gradinaru, Gardiners Orchard, will share the farmer’s experience in growing and marketing tomatoes.
The 2021 Missouri Tomato School is funded in part by the Missouri Department Agriculture through a Specialty Crops grant. Additional sponsors are University of Missouri Extension, Lincoln University Cooperative Extension, and the Webb City Farmers Market.
